At ze mall

".........sorry......." was all Zex could say.

"No." she said, turning back to face him. "I did not ask for an apology. I asked for a reason. Why did you just kiss me?"

"Because......." Zex mumbled. He could still hardly speak. Still blushing, he put his head down, turned around, and started to walk away.

Reaching out to him, Zola grabbed his hand. "I'm not mad at you." she told him. "I'm just curious on why you did it."

"It's just....I've never kissed anyone before, Zex said as he turned around to face Zola.

"Well, neither have I." Zola said honestly, "But, why kiss me?"

"Well I like you remember?" Zex said to answer Zola's question.

"yeah..but.." she sighed, shaking her head. Realizing she was still holding his hand, Zola let go of it. "Sorry.."

"It's okay, Zola. Let's just get going." said Zex as he started walking out of the arcade.

Zola nodded and followed him out. "Where to now?"

"The food court I guess, I'm getting hungry," Zex said as he led the way.

Zola sighed, following behind. "Being out in the open like this is scaring me.." she told him softly.

After walking for a while, they were there. "Want anything to eat?" Zex asked Zola

In the heart of the crowd leaned Septimus on a wall. He had seen the whole scene play out, and now just glared at the betrayal. Zex befriending a Dark was unsurprising, it was inevitable with his attitude towards the rivalry, but to go far as to try and spark a relationship was just despisable. With the noise of everyone else he hadn't heard anything, suspecting that Reyna would end up telling as well. But he had to investigate first. He started moving towards them through the sea of people.

"Yeah, sure." Zola said, jumpy. " As long as it gets my out of this swarm of people, I don't care what we do."

While walking with Zola, Zex saw a familiar person move towards them. "Oh no..." Zex moaned as he reached for his pistols.

Septimus moved faster through the crowd. The wave of Normals moving in a disorderly way about the mall slowed him down slightly as he rudely shouldered those in his way aside.

Zola followed Zex's eyes, and saw him. Nearly freezing out of terror, she turned back to Zex, taking his hands. "No guns.. Lets just get out of here before he reaches us, alright?" the look in her eyes was pleading. She didn't want anyone getting hurt because of her.

Zex nodded and started running towards the entrance to the mall.

Septimus knew he wouldn't be able to catch up. He looked to Zola, not knowing anything about her, not even her name. He wasn't sure if she would be caught if he told his surperiors. He couldn't just stroll up to a Dark and tell them... Could he?

"I knew this was a bad idea.." Zola said softly, running beside Zex. "I'm sorry, you're probably going to get in trouble for this."

"Again, it's okay, Zola," Zex said as they ran. "But we need to stop Septimus from telling someone."

She pulled him to a stop. "How exactly are we going to accomplish that?"

ooc: Does Septimus need someone to tell? xD

ic: Jaylen had just walked out of one of the many stores in the mall. She held the bags of things in her hands as she walked towards the food court, completely oblivious to what was going on.
