Anders walked across the rough surface, with what seemed like only a large coat. His face was clouded, and hands in his pockets.

A girl with blonde hair sat on a flat rock about ten feet from the edge. The wind blew her hair around, but she smiled. This place was nice.

A sound caused her to look over, and she saw a boy walking in her direction.

The boy seemed completely defenseless, but the coat seemed suspicious. He said nothing, and it looked like he didn't see her.

Sherisse slipped off the rock, hoping the boy had noticed her. She turned to face him, just in case. His face seemed familiar, but then, every face was familiar to her.

Anders sensed her mana. Light. He immediately pulled a handgun from his jacket, and started peppering bullets at her.

Alarmed, but alert, Sherisse stuck out her hand, and a pulsing aura surrounded her in a bubble. Her expression changed to anger.
"What the heck?!" she yelled; her voice echoed.

"Die." he said blankly, shooting more. When it was out of ammo, he withdrew it, bringing out another pistol.

Jessi had been out with her bow searching for moving targets she could hit for practice. She needed the accuracy practice and out here was the perfect place for it. Suddenly, her head turned when she heard the gun shots but all she saw were the shadows of trees around her. Quickly, she darted towards the direction of the sound until she ended up running towards Sherisse. When she could finally somewhat see the shooter and the girl, she froze, too shocked to move. This guy was just shooting at this girl, but she wasn't getting hurt. What was this?

The force field pulsed with each impact, and Sherisse began to cringe each time one hit.
"You must be a Dark!" she called. She began stepping closer, flinching and pausing every now and then. "I'll show you!"

"Light. Die." Anders said in a monotone voice, before noticing the other. "Normal..."

Instantly, the force field was gone. Sherisse shook her head as if to clear it from previous thoughts. She stuck her hands into her white jacket's pockets and turned to face the gorge, as though nothing had happened.

"Dark? Light?" Jessie repeated utterly confused. She must have been dreaming. This wasn't normal. And what did he mean by 'normal'? She wasn't normal by any means. "What... what were you doing?!" She finally shouted, her body still frozen in her spot.

Anders clicked the gun back, putting it in his coat. "Doing? Nothing..." he whispered.

"We were just talking," Sherisse said, disgusted at the thought but putting a taut smile on her face. "Are you okay? You look scared."

"You were not!" She shouted as she finally took a step back to keep her balance. "I saw you!" She then turned her attention to Anders. "You.. You were shooting at her. And you," She then turned back to Sherisse. "You weren't getting hit at all. What's going on? And don't lie to me!" She screamed, becoming more angry than freaked out.

Anders sighed, pulled out his gun, and shot Jessi two times; one time in the shoulder, and one time in the leg.

Sherisse yelled out loud.
"What was that for?!" she exclaimed, racing over to the girl. She knelt, wondering where to start. "You could have killed her, you idiot!"

Jessi, as the bullets hit her, screamed in agony as she fell backwards. Everywhere on her body hurt worse than she had ever felt before. Closing one hand down on her leg and the other on her shoulder, she laid there quietly trying to hold back more screams as blood seeped through her fingers.

"Knew too much. Wouldn't kill." said Anders dully, and it was the truth. He was an excellent marksman. He then took out his cellphone, called 9-1-1, and spoke like this:
"Like, duuuuude! I just saw, like, this girl get shot by somebody.......yeeeah, she had blonde hair. Thaaaaank youuuu."
He hung up, throwing the cellphone off the gorge and shooting it into a million pieces. "Ambulance coming. She'll be thought crazy."
With that, he started walking off.

Sherisse leaped to her feet, stomping after Anders.
"Now, you just wait a moment," she growled, grabbing his arm. Slowly, heated mana wove around her fingers. "You just blamed that on me."

Jessi just kinda... laid there afraid to move too much for she didn't want to bleed to death. Thankfully when he had shot her, he had missed major veins so it wasn't terrible, but it still hurt like crazy.

Anders stopped, turning around. "Others blonde?" he asked, smiled, and continued on.

Sherisse almost literally growled like a cat, but she turned back around to Jessi.
"I'm sorry he shot you," she apologized, kneeling beside the girl again.

Jessi finally opened her eyes so that she looked at Sherisse. It took a moment for her to register who it was and the voice confirmed it, but she was still nervous in this girl's presence. "It's... It's okay, I guess." She replied. "Tell me... what-what are you?" She asked persistently.

She turned her back. Anders whipped around, throwing up his pistol, and shot her in the leg, and torso. "I said. You die." he said monotonously, as sirens could be heard. He disappeared into the forest.
